Welcome To My Website

This is my Dawgy

The course rules for Principles of Engineering are as follows: Course Rules

Mr. Wilton's Website

The First Week: August 8-12

Day 1: Monday

Today in class, my half of the class played the name game with Dr. Neato. I found out the harsh truth that I can't say Monte.

Day 2: Tuesday

Today in engineering, we switched places with the other half of the class and went with Mr. Miller, who gave us a tour of the TechShop. We were also assigned our Laptops!

Day 3: HUUMMP DAYYY

This class period, we were assigned our groups for the Wednesday challenge, which happened to be the 6-part spaghetti bridge competition. The guys in my group are Kevin: Le Manager, Monte, and Tyler

Day 4: Thursday

Today, we continued working on our bridge design and made our first prototype! Unfortunately, we didn't math before we started building and realized that we wouldn't be able to finish with our current design Our Spaghetti Bridge

Day 5: Friday

Today, we learned from Dr. Neato how to use Notepad++ and created the first lines of our website in code.

The Second Week: August 15-19

Day 6: Monday

Today, we continued work on our websites in class, and we got appointment for an orthopaedic to look at my knee

Day 7: Tuesday

I was absent today, because my mom was worried about the condition of my knee and wanted to wait until the MRI later tonight to see if I should continue making the trek across campus daily

Day 8: Wednesday

The MRI technician told me stay off of my knee until I saw Dr. Owens, but wouldn't tell me what was actually wrong with my knee. My appointment with Owens is later tonight. We shall see what's wrong with me.

Day 9: Thursday

SOOOOO, turns out I have been walking around school for a little over a week now with a broken knee. Yeah, I know right. Now I'll be off for the entire first month of school. As of now, I need to email all of my teachers to see what I will have to do for the next month regarding make-up work. Yay.

Day 10: Friday

I have been working on lots of English and Biology homework, with a little math sprinkled in. I'm still trying to figure out how I'm supposed to teach my self Spanish.

The Third Week: August 22-26

Day 11: Monday

Today during Independent Study, I worked on Algebra II homework, Practiced a little but of Spanish, and read some of Fahrenheit 451.

Day 12: Tuesday

Today at home, I continued to teach myself Algebra, Spanish, and got to grow radishes inside of a plastic bag in my window. Don't worry this is a science project, not my idea to grow plants in a bag.

Day 13: Wednesday

We haven't been raided yet, this is a good sign. Today as far as academics goes, I read fifty pages of Fahrenheit 451 and began working on an outline for AP Human Geography.

Day 14: Thursday

Today, is basically a repeat of yesterday, except first signs of life have began to show in my window-radish bag.

Day 15: Friday

I was told by Dr. Neato today, that Ian has volunteered to teach me the ways of the force (Website).

The Fourth Week: August 29-Sept 2

Day 16: Monday

Today, I worked on a lot of Spanish and then my art teacher came to my house and taught me some watercolor techniques.

Day 17: TACO Tuesday

After I worked on school work, I had my first Spanish lesson with my new tutor and went to Taco Tuesday to celebrate my dad's birthday.

Day 18: Wednesday

Today, I was able to practice Spanish, read a lot of Fahrenheit 451, and play video games for the first time in a long while. Also, the Spaghetti Bridge results came out today Spaghetti Bridge Wednesday Challenge Results

Day 19: Thursday

Today is a minimum day at school, so mom is letting me off the hook early today, but even though tomorrow is the start of the weekend, I still have to get up to do work, so I am all caught up by Monday. Ian also came today, but was unable to make the website go live, so we will have to reconvene on Monday.

The Fifth Week: September 6-9

Day 20: Tuesdee

Today, my internet was down for most of the day and I was stuck doing only book work for Spanish. Now I know that the verb ser has six different forms! For lunch, I was able to nuke a chicken pot-pie, and the nuking continues onto my dinner, baked potater soup.

Day 21: Wednesdee

Today, I spent the majority of my time preparing for my test day that would take place tomorrow, where I would make up for all of the tests and quizzes that I have missed for the past month. Ian also came over today, to help me with my FileZilla dilemma. There was a Wednesday challenge today that I wasn't able to participate in, but John was kind enough send me the link to his form. Dog or Cat WC

Day 22: Thursdee

This fine morning, I made a 'doodle' for my med. bio test later today and studied the remainder of my time before it was time to go. Upon finishing the tests, I was allowed to head to the school library until it was time for my spanish lesson with my tutor at 3:15.

Day 23: Fridee

Today, I've been working even further to catch up before I go back to school. I also looked into some HTML Guides to see what kind of cool stuff I can do with my website

The Sixth Week: September 12-16

Day 24: Monday

Two days away from heading back to school, tomorrow is my orthopaedic appointment and I hoping everything comes up healed on the x-ray

Day 25: Tuesday

One day from getting back to school, and I just got back from the doctor's, he said I was healed up! No more teaching myself how DNA does what it does!

Day 26: Wednesday

First day back to school, and I am officially about to explode, I have so much work to do! Good thing I have six months to make it up! In Engineering today, we had a wednesday challenge where we had to cut down a block to exactly two inches, or as close to as possible. 2 Inch Block

Day 27: Thursday

Second Day back to school, and I think the anxiety is actually managing to get worse! YAYAYAYAYAYAY! Anywho, today in engineering, I wasn't able to complete the wednesday challenge, because Dr. Neat wanted to see where I was regarding uploading my website.

Day 28: Friday

Today in principles of engineering, Ian helped me give my website some spice and Mr. Miller helped me sign up for the online safety course for the shop. The JPL group showed us their progress

The Seventh Week: September 19-23

Day 29: Monday

Today in engineering, I found out that I successfully signed up for the online course and was able to begin the course. That's when I saw the video that the veterans made. smh. Mr. Miller pulled me aside to start working on the safety course, so I wasn't able to learn about the jenga thing that Dr. Neat was doing in the next room.

Day 30: Tuesday

This fine September afternoon, we had a guest speaker come in and talk to us about doing something with our useless lives before we die of extreme debt.

Day 31: Wednesday

Today I participated in a Wednesday challenge where we had to have a marble travel a certain distance into a paper bag using only PVC and our hands. Here's the link to the write up and sorry for it being in Google, this computer does have powerpoint. Marble

Day 32: Thursday

Engineering was more of a programming class today, but I'm totally fine with thta. We learned from Alex how embed a video into our website. I was also able to add some stuff to the site that will make it better aesthetically.

Day 33: Friday

Unfortunately, I have no idea what happened today, because I had to leave early from school. My ankle was in so much pain, the same pain I was when I broke my knee just a month ago. Mom said I was going to be tested for my bone density.

The Seventh Week: September 26-30

Day 34: Monday

Today at my appointment, Dr. Owens confirmed my worries and said that it was most likely yet another stress fracture in my ankle. It's definite now that I'm going to have my bone density tested sometime soon at Children's Hospital.
